Find your
plant's place.
Good light is measured at the plant, not guessed from the window. Record what really happens in your room or balcony and print a private observation sheet.

Use at more than one time of day. This worksheet records observed conditions. It does not diagnose a plant, calculate DLI from lux, or claim that one position suits every species.
An observation, not a verdict.
The flags below identify factors worth checking. They are not species-specific advice or a horticultural light calculation.
A lux reading estimates visible illuminance and is not PPFD or DLI. Phone sensors may be inaccurate. A reading is optional and only useful for consistent relative comparisons unless a properly specified instrument is used. Inspect the position repeatedly and consult plant-specific references.
